Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
This document constitutes a binding agreement governing the use of the SPL-Core messaging infrastructure provided by Sunny Financial Technologies Ltd ("The Provider").
General Provisions
The SPL-Core infrastructure is a specialized, high-availability environment designed exclusively for Business-to-Business (B2B) and Enterprise applications. By creating an account or utilizing our API endpoints, you agree to adhere strictly to this policy.
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards abuse. The Provider reserves the right to suspend or terminate access immediately, without prior notice, if any violation of this AUP is detected via our automated heuristics.
Nature of Service & Traffic Definition
Commercial Use Only
Services are available only to registered legal entities (LLC, Ltd, Corp, GmbH). Personal accounts and consumer use are strictly prohibited to ensure IP reputation integrity.
Transactional Distinction
This platform is optimized for Transactional Messaging. Authorized use cases include:
- System Alerts: Password resets, 2FA codes, security notifications.
- Workflow Notifications: Order confirmations, shipping updates, digital receipts.
- Legal Notices: Policy updates, terms of service changes, debt recovery notices (compliant with Fair Debt Collection Practices Act).
STRICT RESTRICTION: Marketing, promotional blasts, and newsletters are not permitted on the Standard Gateway. Clients wishing to send marketing traffic must request a separate, dedicated IP pool and sign an additional Marketing Addendum.
Prohibited Content
The following activities are explicitly banned and will result in immediate termination:
- Purchased Lists: Sending to email addresses obtained from third-party lists, data brokers, or "scraped" from the web.
- Cold Prospecting: Sending unsolicited emails to recipients with whom you have no prior business relationship.
- Affiliate Marketing: Promoting third-party products or lead generation schemes.
- High-Risk Content: Cryptography schemes, get-rich-quick offers, multi-level marketing (MLM), or illegal pharmaceuticals.
Consent & Opt-In Standards
Double Opt-In (DOI) Requirement
We strongly recommend, and for certain industries require, a Double Opt-In (DOI) process for all subscribers. You must be able to provide proof of consent (timestamp and IP address) for every recipient in your logs upon request.
Unsubscribe Headers
All non-system messages must include a functional one-click unsubscribe link (RFC 8058 compliant). Requests to unsubscribe must be honored within 48 hours.
Financial Services Specifics
Given our specialization in the financial sector, specific rules apply to lending and fintech clients to ensure compliance with global carrier regulations:
Licensing Requirement
Clients utilizing domains related to lending (e.g., Payday, Short-term Credit) must provide valid regulatory licenses for the jurisdictions they operate in (e.g., FCA Authorization in UK, State Lending License in US).
Prohibition on Lead Generation
The use of SPL-Core infrastructure for "Lead Generation" or selling loan applications to third parties is strictly prohibited. We support only direct lenders and authorized servicers communicating with existing customers.
Enforcement & Metrics
We monitor all outbound traffic via automated AI heuristics. Accounts may be paused automatically if they exceed the following thresholds:
- Hard Bounce Rate: > 5.0%
- Spam Complaint Rate: > 0.08%
- Spam Trap Hits: > 1 hit per week
In the event of a breach, the client must provide a remediation plan explaining the source of the data and steps taken to clean the list before service can be restored.
